On September 28, Legault officiliazed its subsidy of 7 billion dollars to a Swedish battery company to build a mega-factory in McMasterville. Less than a month later, the government announced that he won't pay the deficits of the transportation services, making the STM afraid that it would mean that they'll have to shutdown the Metro at 11PM. Those events are linked: they express a transportation strategy excessively damaging to the planet and to our wallets.
Le salon des carrières en technologie de McGill se tiendra les 4 et 5 octobre à New Rez (3625, avenue du Parc). Cette foire annuelle est une campagne de recrutement pour certaines des entreprises minières, pétrolières, gazières et de défense les plus sales et les plus exploitantes au monde. Science pour le peuple sera présent pour distribuer des informations sur tous les 100 entreprises participantes. The McGill Tech Career fair is happening Oct 4-5 at New Rez (3625 Parc Ave). The annual tech fair is a recruitment drive for some of the dirtiest and most exploitative mining, oil and gas, and defence contractors in the world. Science for the People will be there to hand out information on all 100 participating companies. Please join us in printing and distributing this pamphlet at the fair as well as other student spaces around the city.

Pardonnez-moi, ami.es éco-anxieux.es, je ne pensais pas devoir énoncer l’évidence. J’aurais souhaité inutile de lister les catastrophes climatiques dont nous avons été témoin dans les derniers mois, feux de forêts, smog, montée des eaux, inondations. Il semble qu’avec le gouvernement actuel et son inaction désolante, il faille continuer de se répéter pour se faire entendre.
