While public transport fares continue to rise with the cost of living, metro lines decay and train stations close, the government chooses instead to invest in colonialist, capitalist and polluting projects - battery factories, mines, etc. It's clear that the capitalist system and the state are models destined to perpetuate systems of oppression and impoverish the already precarious. In the light of these observations, the articles take stock of the situation and reflect on an alternative: Transport for All! 2 authors will be on hand to discuss their texts!
Three “surprises” are in store:
