We find ourselves at the crossroads of several political struggles:
- Stablex wishes to expand its hazardous waste dump on the Blainville peat bog, which the population refuses;
- The Prince Rupert Gas Transmission project on the Lax'yip, whose environmental permit is in danger of being renewed, allowing the colonial project to go ahead;
- Digital technologies aggravating the exploitation of people and land;
- police repression in the metro, which criminalizes the majority of homeless people.
In light of this storm, Rage climatique invites you to its popular assembly on May 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Les Révoltes, on the 2nd floor of 2035 boulevard Saint-Laurent.
The purpose of the meeting will be to draw up an action plan to guide Rage climatique's activities in the coming months, and to welcome new members. Food will be provided!
The proposal booklet for the People's Assembly will be sent out in a later email.
